Marin Assemblyman Seeks Smoking Ban at State Beaches, Parks

A bill authored by Assemblyman Marc Levine would ban smoking on California’s 300 miles of state beaches and in its 280 state parks.

“Banning smoking at state parks and beaches is a natural step to protect our communities from the dangers of cigarette smoke and also to protect our environment and keep our beautiful natural resources clean,” Levine, D-Greenbrae, said Monday.
